Ironbound Spine & Rehabilitation Center

James Rainey's office on Ferry Street

Ironbound Spine & Rehabilitation Center is at 332 Ferry Street, Newark. Its professional page identifies James Rainey as the chiropractor. The practice presents a combination of chiropractic and rehabilitation services, with appointments on weekdays and a break in the middle of each day. Its direct number is 973-589-2171.

More than one technique

The office's service menu includes spinal adjustments, therapeutic exercise, electrical muscle stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound and massage. It also lists custom foot orthotics and spinal decompression. The variety matters when a patient wants to understand the components of a proposed visit: exercise, manual care and a physical modality are distinct services, and the appropriate choice depends on the person's evaluation.

The center describes care for sports, personal and automobile injuries. Someone arriving after a recent accident should first seek the appropriate medical evaluation for the nature and urgency of the injury. At a scheduled chiropractic consultation, previous findings and questions about the proposed care can help the patient understand what the office is recommending.

A split weekday schedule

Monday through Thursday, the published hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Friday has the same morning period and an afternoon session ending at 6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday are closed. The gap between 1 and 3 p.m. is useful to know when planning a call or visit. Patient intake forms are available online.

Recent visitors describe a friendly, professional team; a number mention bringing family members. These are individual experiences, not guarantees of clinical results. The office's service list, practitioner and published hours supply the practical details for comparing it with other Ironbound practices.
