Custom Shutters and Window Treatments in New Jersey

Sunburst Shutters New Brunswick is an interior window treatment business operating out of New Brunswick, New Jersey, serving customers in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. The company has been part of the Sunburst group since its founding in 1997 and offers interior shutters, shades, and blinds custom-made for each window.

Its catalog includes Polywood® faux-wood shutters, Ovation® natural wood shutters, Studio shutters, and reclaimed wood shutters, as well as motorized, roller, Roman, cellular, transitional, sheer, woven, and Tumble shades. It also offers wood and faux-wood blinds, and commercial window treatments.

Polywood® Shutters and Energy Efficiency

The company highlights its Polywood® plantation shutters, made with its own proprietary synthetic wood, as an option that combines light control and energy savings. According to the company's information, these shutters can conserve heating and cooling up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, which helps reduce utility bills.

Most custom shutters are manufactured in the United States, at the company's own factory, which according to the company allows for faster turnaround times. The complete process, from initial consultation to installation, usually takes four to six weeks, and natural wood shutters may take longer due to the additional staining and treatment of the wood.

Solutions for Specialty Windows and Every Room

The business offers treatments for unconventional window shapes and locations, such as French doors, skylight windows, sliding doors, sidelights, arched windows, circle windows, and bay windows. For the home, it offers options tailored to each room: cordless shades for children's bedrooms, Ovation® wood shutters for dining rooms, or Polywood® shutters for the whole house.

The company also offers commercial window treatments and has a design center, a window treatment visualizer, and a shutter designer that allows customers to combine colors, frame styles, and louver sizes before buying.

Free Consultation and Installation Service

Sunburst Shutters New Brunswick provides free in-home consultations. During these, the team measures the windows, brings samples of the products and their available options, and once the model is chosen, provides a quote tailored to the project. Installation is carried out by the company's own staff.

The company states that its custom shutters are designed to last for decades and come with the industry's most comprehensive lifetime warranty, according to its own presentation. It also offers factory offers and coupons through its website.
