About College of Western Idaho — Norco Health & Science Building
Opened in August 2025, the Norco Health & Science Building concentrates clinical and laboratory teaching at CWI’s Nampa campus. The official development plan lists microbiology, biology, certified nursing assistant, dental assisting, medical assisting, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant, practical and registered nursing, surgical technology and surgical first assistant among its programs.
This is the campus address to look for when a health-sciences course or lab is scheduled in the new building. Several listed pathways are hands-on and may require clinical placement, background checks, prerequisites or a separate selection process. Applicants should use the catalog and the current program page to confirm credit totals, sequence and admission dates rather than treating general college admission as entry to every cohort.
The building stands at 5700 E. Opportunity Drive, adjacent to CapEd Student Success Center. CWI lists free parking across its campus locations, and VRT passes are available to eligible students and employees. The campus map and course schedule help distinguish the health building from nearby classrooms and support offices.
Purpose-built clinical and laboratory instruction for health careers.
