College of Western Idaho — Micron Education Center

The Micron Education Center is a separate teaching and support site south of the main Nampa Campus cluster. CWI lists advising, a computer lab, bookstore services and testing at the building, whose address is 5725 E. Franklin Road. Testing Services also uses this site for placement and other assessments; students should check the current examination calendar and arrival instructions before coming.

The building supports academic and technical instruction, including manufacturing-related coursework. CWI’s catalog lists credentials from short certificates and associate degrees to applied bachelor options, but the course schedule determines which section meets here in a given term. The building name also appears in transportation information as one of the stops connecting CWI’s Nampa locations.

Parking is free at CWI campus locations. Eligible students and employees can use Valley Regional Transit with a CWI ID and pass sticker, and CWI lists OnDemand service in its transport information. Check the campus map for the Franklin Road approach and confirm that your class, test or appointment is assigned to NMEC rather than the Academic Building or CapEd.
