College of Western Idaho — CapEd Student Success Center

CapEd Student Success Center brings several practical services together in a new central building on the Nampa Campus. Students can use One Stop Student Services, the Learning Commons, tutoring, disability support, counseling and wellness services, success coaching, student clubs and veterans and military-family support. CWI identifies the Learning Commons as the umbrella for its library, tutoring and writing support.

The center opened in June 2026 and sits beside the Health & Science Building at 5600 E. Opportunity Drive. One Stop is the place to untangle enrollment, aid, records, registration and billing questions; the Learning Commons supports coursework. That combination makes CapEd useful early in the application process and after classes begin, particularly when a student is navigating college systems for the first time.

CWI lists free visitor parking and extended weekday hours, with Saturday access. The college’s official page has carried a bookstore move notice, so verify the bookstore’s current location before going specifically to buy materials. Valley Regional Transit services and the college’s interconnecting Nampa shuttle provide additional options; published schedules should be checked against the student’s route.
