About College of Western Idaho — Agricultural Sciences Complex

CWI’s Agricultural Sciences Complex is a working teaching environment north of the main Nampa Campus, near Progress Way and Cherry Lane. The college describes a 40-acre site with two academic buildings, greenhouses, an animal barn, a shop, a working farm, experimental labs and shared learning areas. Its horticulture and agriculture programs connect classroom study with plant production, landscape design and animal-science practice.

The official location list assigns separate addresses to the Simplot Agriculture Building, horticulture greenhouse, animal science barn and shop. This profile marks the complex at the Simplot building address; students should check their schedule for the exact structure because the facilities are spread across the site. CWI says the complex opened in August 2025 and includes a student-designed registered arboretum.

The site is outside the central Nampa campus cluster, so allow time for the drive and follow the current campus map. CWI lists free parking at campus locations and provides transit support to students and employees who obtain the required VRT pass. Confirm access arrangements for a class, farm activity or public event with the program before visiting.
