About College of Western Idaho — Canyon County Center

Canyon County Center is one of CWI’s original instructional sites and remains a distinct option in Nampa. The college says the center hosts workforce development, skilled trades, adult education, law-enforcement training and academic classes. Its program mix makes it especially relevant to people looking for practical training close to Caldwell Boulevard rather than assuming every course is at the newer main campus.

CWI’s campus page gives the location as 2407 Caldwell Boulevard, Nampa. The catalog and course schedule show the current offerings and can identify classes in trades, health and public safety; some programs require prerequisites or a program-specific application. Adult English, GED and basic-skills classes are free to eligible learners, with eligibility rules and an intake appointment set by Adult Education.

The college lists free parking at all campus locations. Its transport page includes Canyon County Center in the locations connected through VRT fixed routes or OnDemand service for eligible students and employees holding the CWI pass. One Stop service is no longer provided in person at this center, so use the Nampa Micron Education Center or Ada County Lynx Building for admissions, billing or aid assistance.
