Broward College — Miramar West Center

Miramar West Center is a joint-use academic building shared by Broward College and Florida International University. Its scale and program mix are different from a full college campus: Broward’s science and wellness site lists biology and physical-science lectures and labs, while the catalog identifies selected nursing and supply-chain coursework at this location. The building includes classrooms and laboratories, giving students a place to complete applied coursework without traveling to Davie or Fort Lauderdale.

The site is especially relevant to students following health-science prerequisites or selected technical pathways. Broward’s catalog shows which courses and credentials have a Miramar West location; the schedule determines whether a section is offered in a given term. The two institutions share the facility, so students should check the course provider and room before arriving. Broward also lists student support and accessibility services in its center network.

The official address is 1930 SW 145th Avenue, near Pembroke Road and the I-75 corridor. The college describes the building as a joint campus with FIU and provides a map through its center pages. Use the current class schedule for the exact room and time, then follow the campus map rather than assuming all Broward services are in the same entrance. The college’s published facility contact can answer building-use questions.
