The resort offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for all ages: indoor pool, the recently opened Champions Pool (a multi-tiered outdoor pool spanning one acre and holding approximately 145,000 gallons of purified, heated water), tennis and pickleball courts, putting green, basketball courts, lawn games such as croquet, bocce, corn hole and giant chess, archery and axe throwing, clay shooting, zip lining, hiking and biking, and family programs such as Camp Salamander. The property has three Tesla charging stations at the front of the property, each 30 amps, exclusive to Tesla vehicles, managed by the valet service.

Equestrian program

The equestrian center is one of the resort's most unique facilities. It has 25 acres dedicated to entry-level equestrian use, a 14,000-square-foot stable with 22 stalls, nine paddocks and an outdoor riding arena with ThorTurf footing. The offering includes countryside trail rides, pony rides with bubble bath, essential horsemanship and equine communication classes, and programs such as Horse 101 and Keeping Up with Cupcake.

Middleburg was founded in 1787 by John Leven Powell, a lieutenant colonel of the Revolutionary War and Virginia statesman, who purchased the land at $2.50 per acre.
