Ballagas Construction

Ballagas Construction is an owner-led general contractor with an office at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Suite 1950, in Miami. Its Florida Certified General Contractor credential, CGC1530999, appeared current and active in the state registry checked October 31, 2026. The company says it is licensed and insured and works across Miami-Dade and Broward, including custom-home and renovation projects in the urban core and surrounding communities.

The firm concentrates on custom houses, home additions, whole-home renovations and high-end condominium work. Its published projects range from a concrete residential shell to completed kitchens and living spaces. One portfolio image is explicitly a rendering of Casa Arborēa, which the company labels pre-construction; it should be read as a design image, not a finished building. That distinction is useful when comparing a portfolio with completed work.

Ballagas describes its model as selective and directly managed by the owner. It invites clients to send drawings, surveys, specifications or property photos before the first discussion, then says it replies to project inquiries within 12 hours. Ask for a project-specific scope, written allowances and a permit schedule before comparing the proposal with another builder.

Customer project accounts show the range of work: a bedroom-and-bath addition after a difficult experience with a prior contractor, and separate pool/spa and outdoor-kitchen projects. The owners describe responsive answers and follow-through, including during city approvals. These are individual projects; for additions or outdoor work, ask who prepares drawings, tracks permits and inspections, and coordinates the trades, then review the written scope and schedule before signing.
