About City of Miami Beach Youth Soccer

The City of Miami Beach divides its recreational soccer by age and school grade, then places teams at parks from Mid-Beach to North Beach. In Fall 2026, Little Ballers served ages three and four; Pee Wee covers kindergarten and first grade, Primer grades two and three, and Junior grades four and five. The city lists short weekday sessions rather than a single full-day academy, which makes this a practical first season for a younger child.

Flamingo Park is the South Beach anchor: the city assigns several divisions to its softball field or soccer pitch around 13th and 14th streets at Meridian Avenue. Normandy Isle takes other Pee Wee, Primer and Junior sessions; North Shore Park Youth Center and Scott Rakow host Little Ballers. These are different parts of an island city, so the free municipal trolley can help with some neighborhood trips, but families should check stop locations and match them to a child’s exact practice time.

The fall season runs September 8 through the week of November 20, 2026. Published times include Little Ballers on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, with evening weekday schedules for the elementary divisions. The registration page distinguishes residents from nonresidents, and the separate all-girls development program for ages eight to twelve lists $300 for residents and $600 for nonresidents, a jersey, two weekly sessions, small-sided scrimmages and recreational 3v3 tournaments. Confirm the new season’s rates and open places rather than carrying these fall terms forward.

Beyond the city league, Super Soccer Stars offers introductory classes through a Parks and Recreation partnership, and Zorros de Miami FC lists after-school and competitive training in North Beach. The local professional top division is not on the beach itself: Inter Miami CF plays in MLS at Miami Freedom Park in the City of Miami. The city’s own Flamingo Park, meanwhile, is a multisport campus with soccer, baseball, softball, tennis and basketball.
