Able Moving & Storage

Able Moving & Storage lists local, interstate and commercial moves, as well as packing and storage. Google Maps identifies the listing checked for this profile at 14 Howe Drive, Amherst, NH 03031, while the official website publishes 59 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH 03054, as a contact address. These are two addresses attributed to the same company; call to confirm which one is used for appointments. The website names New Hampshire communities including Amherst, Concord, Merrimack, Nashua and Portsmouth, and says its reach extends to other parts of New England; availability depends on the route.

RSA 359-T:2 requires a certificate from the Department of Safety for a carrier transporting household goods between points within New Hampshire. Able publishes a USDOT number and its Bekins Van Lines affiliation for interstate operations, but neither replaces the state certificate required for an in-state move. Before comparing intrastate estimates, ask for the current certificate number and the legal name of the carrier under contract.

Positive comments checked for the local listing describe crews protecting furniture, conducting a preliminary assessment and coordinating moving day in advance. The website also emphasizes planning and itemized pricing. To evaluate a move, ask the estimate to distinguish transportation, materials, packing, storage and access charges.

Published services include residential and business relocations, local and long-distance moves, packing and storage solutions. As a Bekins agent, Able can coordinate routes beyond its local operation, but ask who will collect, who will deliver and whether another agent will handle the destination.

The site offers an estimate request and sales phone numbers. Include postcodes, inventory, dates and details about stairs or parking; then compare proposals with the same scope. Confirm the appointment address before visiting, since the Google Maps listing and corporate page publish Amherst and Merrimack addresses, respectively.

To check availability and request an estimate, use the official form to ask about service and request an estimate provided by the company.
