CAP projects opening 2027 applications at noon Central on December 15, 2026, and closing them at noon Central on January 15, 2027. Academic awards require applicants to be at least high-school seniors and age 17 by March 1, 2027, and enrolled in a course of study during the funded academic year. A general rule also bars recipients of a CAP scholarship in the prior three years.
Applications are managed in Registration Zone within eServices, not through a standard public form. Students register and complete the main application, follow each award’s instructions, and upload a résumé if required. Some flight awards use the Cadet Wings guide and ask for a training plan, airport, instructor, and schedule. Review each scholarship’s description before preparing attachments that not every fund requires.
Awards differ by purpose and amount, and the procedures page does not give one universal figure for every cadet. To avoid a short-deadline problem, contact a CAP adviser and confirm eServices access before December 15. Download required forms, request letters or certifications early, and verify final submission; the portal says only completed applications received by the deadline are considered.
