About Isolani Endodontics
Specialized Endodontics in Mandeville and Gulfport
Isolani Endodontics is a clinic dedicated to endodontics, the branch of dentistry that treats the inside of the tooth. Its directors, Dr. Rodney Isolani and Dr. Benjamin Bell, are specialist members of the American Association of Endodontists. The clinic serves patients at two locations: one in Mandeville, Louisiana, and one in Gulfport, Mississippi, both with the same standard of care.
Endodontic Treatments
The main service is root canal therapy, which involves removing infected or damaged pulp from inside the tooth to relieve pain and save the tooth. The clinic also performs endodontic retreatments, indicated when problems persist after a previous root canal treatment, and apicoectomies, a minor surgical procedure that removes the tip of the root and seals it to resolve persistent infections or inflammation. It also treats traumatic injuries: in cases where a blow pushes a tooth back into its socket, the endodontist or dentist may reposition and stabilize it.
Sedation and Patient Comfort
The clinic offers several sedation options. In addition to nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, and oral conscious sedation, it offers IV sedation through a partnership with Prime Anesthesia Services. The stated goal is for patients to receive treatment in a comfortable and calm environment.
