Madera Community College — Main Campus

Madera Community College’s main campus is east of the city at 30277 Avenue 12, near State Route 99. It began as a Reedley College center in 1985 and became an independent college in 2020 after approval as California’s 116th community college. The site was developed to extend education in the northern part of the district, and its current identity combines career training, transfer study and community services.

The campus map shows Academic Village, a library and Learning Center, nursing classrooms, agriculture and advanced-manufacturing centers, truck-driving facilities, admissions, advising and financial aid offices, plus a student food pantry and health and psychological services. The college lists pathways that include vocational nursing, industrial maintenance, commercial truck driving, agriculture, science and transfer study. It states that the LVN program takes three full-time semesters after admission requirements are met; other certificates and degrees have their own sequences.

Students apply online, and the Welcome Center connects prospective students with admissions, advising and financial aid. Check the current catalog because the college is still expanding its program lineup. California residents pay a published state fee of $46 per unit before other charges; nonresidents add the $342-per-unit charge published for fall 2026. Ask about FAFSA or CADAA, the California College Promise Grant and college scholarships. Parking uses the district permit system, and the campus map helps locate buildings and lots before a visit.
