Stony Man Trail

The National Park Service describes Stony Man as a 1.6-mile round-trip hike near Skyline Drive mile 41.7, with 340 feet of elevation gain and an estimated hour on the trail.

Although rated among the park’s easier walks, it still includes roots, rocks, slopes and exposure to weather. Supervise children at the rocky viewpoint and keep back from the edge. Pets are not permitted on this trail.
