About Jefferson Community & Technical College — Downtown Campus

Downtown is Jefferson’s largest site, at Second Street and Broadway, with more than 8,000 students each semester. Its programs include allied health and nursing, business, computer information systems, criminal justice, culinary arts, communication, education, electrical technology, industrial maintenance, machine tools, photography and social services. The Underground Café and recurring lectures and concerts give the campus a public-facing life beyond classrooms.

The published address is 109 E Broadway. Student parking on college property requires a permit; the current posted charge is $25 per term. Visitor parking is in the Jefferson Educational Center garage off Second Street, where the college lists a 30-minute limit. TARC routes serve the downtown area. Check the course schedule for the specific building, and use the college’s tour booking page to arrange a visit.

The campus’s central address does not mean all district offices share the same entrance. Jefferson lists campus maps and building-specific directions, and its admissions team offers scheduled tours with an information session. Prospective students should bring their program questions and ask whether the course sequence includes a second location.
