Wolf Sanctuary of PA

Wolf Sanctuary of PA provides lifelong refuge for displaced wolves and wolf-dogs in a wooded setting north of Lititz. Its purpose is animal care and education, supported by donations, admissions and other fundraising. Visitors encounter rescued animals living at a managed sanctuary, not wild wolves in an unrestricted natural reserve.

Guided public tours introduce selected packs and discuss biology and conservation. Private visits offer a broader route, depending on guide availability. The organization also schedules self-guided Saturdays and special events, each with its own booking conditions. Regular guided public and private tours require advance reservations; the existence of a special walk-in event does not make the property generally open for casual arrivals.

The terrain is part of the experience and part of the planning. Paths include grass, dirt, rocks and slopes. Travelers with mobility requirements should discuss the specific tour and available arrangements directly. There is no physical interaction between visitors and wolves, and pets are not permitted on the property.

The 2026 calendar changes weekend guided-tour start times from ten in the morning through September to noon from October through April. Full Moon fundraising events are restricted to ages sixteen and older, unlike the general daytime program. These distinctions help visitors select an appropriate encounter with the sanctuary's work while respecting the animals and the practical limits of the site.
