Bluegrass Community and Technical College — Newtown

The Newtown Campus at 500 Newtown Pike is a central point for BCTC admissions, advising and college operations. Its classrooms and Science Education Center serve transfer students and programs in business, computing, biotechnology, criminal justice, film, design and other fields. The campus also includes The Den, tutoring and student services, while a new classroom and support building is under construction for a future opening.

Newtown is the best-known Lexington location, but the college separates nearby Newtown North at 690 Newtown Pike. The two addresses serve different purposes: Newtown hosts many academic programs and student support, while North houses adult education, dental hygiene, cosmetology and testing. Students should use the exact campus name and building in their appointment or class schedule.

Parking is free, though the college notes construction-related changes to the lots. BCTC’s campus map and color-coded parking map help visitors find the Administration Building, Classroom Building, Science Education Center and The Den. Check current hours before visiting; Sunday access is listed for the Science Education Center only.
