Polk State College — Airside Center East

Airside East is Polk State’s aerospace location in south Lakeland, at 2949 Airside Center Drive. The college’s program page lists associate degrees in Professional Pilot Science, Aerospace Administration and Aviation Maintenance Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Sciences with Professional Pilot and Aerospace Administration concentrations. This concentration makes East a specialized teaching site rather than a general-purpose campus.

Students considering flight or aviation study should compare the program’s admission steps, required flight training and additional costs with the standard per-credit tuition schedule. The college offers an open-door admission route for eligible high-school graduates, but entry to a particular program can involve its own prerequisites and selection. Ask the Aerospace advisers which classes, labs and flight activities take place at Airside East in the intended term.

The official location page groups Airside East and Airside West under Airside Center but publishes separate addresses and campus maps. East’s address is 2949 Airside Center Drive; the college lists weekday office hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. A shared official Airside location photograph is used here because it is the image provided by the college for this campus group. Confirm building and appointment details before travelling.
