About Alpine Family Dental
Alpine Family Dental: Family Dentistry in Kalispell, Montana
Alpine Family Dental is a dental clinic located in central Kalispell, Montana, that combines what it describes as small-town values with advanced dental technology. The practice serves patients from Flathead County and northwestern Montana, and its team works with a comprehensive oral health approach. Dr. Evan Olson, a second-generation dentist and Montana native, leads the clinic.
Dr. Evan Olson and His Background
Evan Olson grew up in Havre, Montana, where his father still practices dentistry. He spent summers and holidays in the Flathead Valley. He trained at Montana State University in Bozeman and at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After completing his studies, he moved to Bend, Oregon, where he worked for five years at a community health center. He later acquired a private dental practice and has incorporated numerous advanced techniques and technologies into his practice.
General and Preventive Dentistry Services
The clinic offers dental exams and cleanings, oral cancer screening, root canal therapy, scaling and root planing, emergency dental care, and dental nightguards. It also performs oral surgery and general restorative treatments, such as bridges and dentures.
Restorative Dentistry and Implantology
Alpine Family Dental offers same-day CEREC crowns using CAD/CAM technology, dental implants of all types — including full-mouth implants, Snap-In Dentures, implant bridges, and All-on-4, All-on-6, and All-on-X solutions — as well as single-tooth dental implants. The clinic handles every stage of the implant process in-house. It also performs extractions and bone grafting.
Cosmetic Dentistry and Other Treatments
In the cosmetic area, the clinic offers highly durable and aesthetic porcelain veneers, made in its own office or by a local dental lab, as well as Botox, clear aligners, teeth whitening, and tooth-colored fillings. It also performs frenectomies in adults and infants to treat tongue and lip ties, using a conservative, painless laser technique. It also addresses dental sleep medicine, including the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing such as obstructive sleep apnea.
Technology and Comfort
The clinic has 3D printing capabilities to make its own oral appliances, diagnostic digital imaging and printing as an alternative to conventional impressions, and laser dentistry. For patient comfort, it offers dental sedation ranging from nitrous oxide to deeper IV sedation. The space includes blankets, wireless headphones, Netflix, and other amenities.
Membership and Financing
For patients without insurance, the clinic offers a membership club with three tiers: adult (13 years and older) for $34 per month, periodontal for $52 per month, and child (12 years and younger) for $25 per month. All include a one-time activation fee of $150 and estimated annual savings of more than $280, $460, and $150 respectively. It also offers financing through CareCredit and Sunbit.
