Fee structure

Moomoo charges a $0 commission per trade on stocks and a margin rate of 6.8%. Equity options have no per-contract fee, while index options have a $0.5 per-contract fee. Regulatory fees, exchange fees, and other charges may apply and are subject to change.

Promotions for new users

The site indicated a welcome promotion with 8.1% annual percentage yield (APY) on uninvested cash and up to $1,000 in NVDA stock for new users. The 8.1% promotional rate was in effect as of 09/18/2026 and consists of a 3.6% base rate plus a temporary 4.5% increase for two months, applicable up to $20,000. The deposit bonus was limited to U.S. residents with a valid Social Security number and at least 18 years of age, and required maintaining an average asset balance for 60 days to unlock the stock. Financial services and regulation

Financial services within the app are provided by Moomoo Financial Inc., a U.S. brokerage firm and member of FINRA and SIPC. Moomoo Technologies Inc. and the moomoo brand do not act as a broker. The Cash Sweep program allows uninvested cash to be swept to program banks, where it may be eligible for FDIC insurance up to $250,000 per bank, provided the requirements are met. Moomoo Crypto Inc. is the entity that offers crypto services.
