About Guilford Technical Community College — Jamestown Campus
Jamestown is GTCC’s main campus, established in 1958 and spread across 257 acres. The college lists a wide mix of classes here, from transfer associate degrees and business to automotive repair, biotechnology, computer technology, culinary arts, dental hygiene, emergency medical science, nursing, radiography, welding and public safety. The Center for Advanced Manufacturing adds machining, welding and transportation-related training.
Student life and college-wide services are concentrated around the main campus. The official map identifies the Medlin Campus Center, Learning Resource Center, Fountain Dental Science, Koury Hospitality Careers, Emergency Services Training buildings, health technology spaces and other instructional sites across the campus. Students should use the building address on the course schedule rather than relying only on the general campus address.
The main entrance address is 601 E. Main Street. GTCC says student, faculty and staff parking permits are free; its Jamestown parking deck is also free for those groups. The college connects students to regional transit and posts a campus map with building numbers and parking areas. Check the program page and location before making a trip, especially for clinical, aviation or emergency-services instruction.
