Allen's Towing

Heavy Haul & Towing Experts in Northeast Florida

Allen's Towing is a towing and roadside assistance company operating in Northeast Florida, with coverage from Jacksonville to St. Augustine and south. Its work combines conventional towing with equipment and machinery transport, a segment where the company focuses primarily. The company is part of the Legacy Tow Group network, alongside other towing firms in the region.

Towing and Assistance Services

The company's service catalog covers several categories:

• Light-duty towing.
• Roadside assistance.
• Heavy-duty towing.
• Specialized transport and hauling of heavy equipment, such as excavators and construction machinery.

The company states that it also performs on-site truck repairs, so a single call can handle towing, recovery, and repair.

Operations and Customer Service

Allen's Towing maintains a dispatch line that is always live, with 24/7 emergency service, every day. The company says it provides a clear quote before hooking up the vehicle, aiming to avoid unexpected charges. Its team of operators is presented as experienced in handling loads that, according to the company itself, other towing services do not take on.

Network of Locations and Coverage

The company is part of Legacy Tow Group and coordinates its operations with other firms in the group, including Walt's Wrecker in Jacksonville, to cover the whole of Northeast Florida. The network also includes the brands Tim's Towing, Elite Towing, and Legacy Road Service, with a presence in Florida and South Carolina. Allen's Towing's main location is in Jacksonville, from where regional coverage is organized.

Service Area

The service is aimed at individual drivers and companies that need to move vehicles or machinery. Among the uses the company itself mentions are corporate fleets, such as an HVAC company in St. Augustine that calls on Allen's to pick up its trucks. Coverage extends throughout Northeast Florida, with Jacksonville and St. Augustine as the main reference points.
