Ivy Tech Indianapolis — Downtown Campus

This is the place to begin if you need help choosing a program or completing the first steps of enrollment. Ivy Tech lists admissions, advising, financial aid, assessment, billing, disability support and local enrollment services at its Indianapolis full-service campus. The general address is 50 W. Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, but the campus is a group of buildings rather than a single front desk; use the current department directory and building map before an in-person appointment.

The downtown campus offers access to the local catalogue of 57 academic programs, from nursing, respiratory therapy and medical imaging to cybersecurity, software development, business, public safety, manufacturing and culinary arts. The course schedule determines which building hosts a class. Students can take courses in person, online or in a live virtual format, and free tutoring is available both on campus and online. The campus page lists a Red/Purple Line bus rapid-transit stop at Meridian Street and Fall Creek/Ivy Tech; campus maps also mark parking areas, with posted designations that visitors should check before leaving a car.

One practical advantage is that the college’s main enrollment, aid and advising offices share a campus with academic support. That makes this a useful first stop for an applicant who wants to compare a short certificate with a transfer degree, arrange a placement assessment, or ask which site offers a particular class. The general admissions phone line operates around the clock and offers Spanish-language assistance; individual offices keep their own weekday schedules.
