Houston Dynamo and Dash Youth Programs

Houston Dynamo and Dash Youth Programs offer short training experiences under the city’s professional club brands, not a weekly neighborhood team. Boys and girls ages 6–16 can attend seasonal, development and fantasy camps, usually over four days, and are grouped by age and experience. The seasonal format is intended as an introduction; the development option is aimed at players seeking more technical and tactical work. Venues move around Greater Houston, so families should choose from the current schedule rather than assume an event is held at an office or stadium.

The live schedule rotates among Houston Sports Park at 12131 Kirby Drive and sites in Katy and Deer Park. The club says enrollment closes at least 48 hours before camp; participants receive a shirt and ball and a discounted ticket to a Dynamo or Dash home match. A separate Academy Winter ID Camp is scheduled at Houston Sports Park on December 12–13, 2026, for boys ages 13–17. The evening sessions run 5:30–7:30 p.m., and registration starts at $150. Players identified there may be invited to continue with an age-group Academy team, but selection is not automatic.

The benefit is club-branded instruction and exposure to the Houston professional environment; the limitation is duration. A four-day camp or two-day ID evaluation is not a season-long team and does not promise a first-team future. Houston Dynamo competes in Major League Soccer, the country’s top men’s professional league, while its camps are general instruction and Academy selection is separate. For weekly play, compare community clubs; for evaluation, read the age rules before paying. See the current camp schedule and registration links.
