Miami Dade College — Homestead Campus

Homestead Campus occupies College Terrace at the southern end of the county. Since 1990, it has offered a nearby option for Homestead and Florida City communities. Its campus map shows science classrooms and labs, nursing facilities, and an aviation training complex with simulators. For South Dade residents, its more compact setting can reduce trips north for classes and student services.

The college lists separate parking areas for students and employees and explains how visitors enter. The map can help new students locate buildings and laboratories before the first class. Reviews include praise for some instructors and the campus’s smaller feel, alongside different experiences with advising and offices; make an appointment and bring questions about transfer, aid, or program entry.

MDC presents Homestead as a broad community campus rather than a site limited to one specialty. Course and practicum availability depends on the term and academic sequence. Selective professional programs may have extra prerequisites and deadlines, so review the department’s current instructions before paying an application fee or changing your schedule.
