Cyclones FC Hollywood / AFA Academy

Cyclones FC’s Hollywood program works with the Argentine Football Association Academy and says it uses Argentine soccer methodology. The official page lists players ages four to eighteen, with pre-competitive groups for birth years 2018–2020 and competitive groups for 2009–2017. Competitive entry requires a tryout; the academy names EDP, SFYSA and UPSL among the competitions for those teams. Clinics and camps are additional options, not a substitute for the roster’s regular schedule.

The public page does not show one current weekly calendar or a standard fee for every age. Before enrolling, ask how often the assigned team trains, which days and field it uses, how placement works and what the season costs after uniforms, tournaments and travel. The club’s description of an international network and Argentine method is its own program statement; the practical questions for a family are the current coach, group size, language used during instruction and how schedule changes are shared.

The Hollywood venue is Dowdy Field, a City recreation property that also hosts other teams. The AFA site lists a separate North Bay Village location for other programs; that address is not a Hollywood practice site. Follow the academy’s current field assignment rather than assuming every session meets at the same part of the complex. Its Facebook and Instagram links are provided on the official page.

Older family comments about the Hollywood listing praise attention to passing technique and say children enjoyed playing. They are past impressions, not a guarantee about a current coach. A first visit can help a parent see how instruction is delivered and ask about the next evaluation. Hollywood FC also uses Dowdy, but the clubs do not share registration, coaches or schedules. Nearby professional teams include Inter Miami in MLS and Fort Lauderdale United’s women in the Division I Gainbridge Super League at Davie; neither is presented as an affiliate of this youth academy.
