Hours and service

The restaurant opens for lunch from 11:30 am to 4 pm and for dinner from 4 pm to 9 pm. Live music is scheduled from 5 pm to 8 pm. Reservations are recommended, though not required. Brunch is usually offered on holidays or special occasions, according to the events calendar. Outdoor dining with pets is allowed.

Coast hosts a regular calendar of events that includes beachside oyster roasts, bourbon dinners, and seasonal live music with local artists. The restaurant also hosts receptions and weddings for up to 130 guests in the Atlantic Room at the Sea Pines Beach Club.

In 2025, the restaurant was included in Southern Living magazine's "The South's Best Beach Bars" list, selected by readers, as one of the top ten beach bars in the South. As for suppliers, Coast states that it sources fresh local seafood from Sea Eagle Market and produce from Heritage Farms, in Sea Pines.
