Miami Dade College — Hialeah Campus

Hialeah Campus sits along the West 49th Street corridor and serves northwest Miami-Dade. Miami Dade College lists programs in computer and office technology, electronics, and early childhood development, alongside a substantial English-language offering for speakers of other languages. That mix may suit students beginning a credential as well as those strengthening English before moving into further study.

The college identifies a parking garage and surface lots, but its safety guide asks visitors to obtain a temporary pass; students and employees must follow vehicle-registration rules. The campus site publishes maps and contacts for Admissions, advising, and financial aid. Public feedback reflects different experiences: some reviewers praise instructors and English learning, while others describe less satisfying administrative service.

Use the college directory to find the right office and current requirements. Before choosing a program, compare its plan with the class search: MDC’s catalog does not mean every course is taught at Hialeah every term. Students who are not yet ready for college-level English can ask about EAP and take the appropriate placement assessment.
