Mary Ellen Stempfle University Center — WCCCD

The Mary Ellen Stempfle University Center (MESUC) is in Harper Woods near 8 Mile Road and I-94. WCCCD hosts partner universities here so students can complete selected bachelor’s and graduate programs locally, alongside selected WCCCD classes and continuing education. Confirm which institution awards the credential and who handles admission, advising and transcripts for each course of study.

The partner directory lists programs in nursing, business, information technology, criminal justice, engineering technology, mortuary science and education, including a doctoral pathway. Partners and agreements can change, and each university sets its own admission rules, tuition and credit evaluation. MESUC is a useful transfer destination once a student has identified a partner program, rather than an automatic route to a bachelor’s degree.

The center is listed at 19305 Vernier Road. WCCCD separately identifies the Center for Learning Technology at 19191 Vernier Road, with distance-learning classrooms and related technology services; some courses also appear at the University Center in term schedules. These are distinct addresses in the same service area. Check the address on the class listing or appointment notice before travelling.
