Great Mornings Coffee & Tea
Online store founded by Kristin Evans, offering coffees, tea blends, syrups, sugars, and accessories for brewing drinks at home.
About Great Mornings Coffee & Tea
Great Mornings Coffee & Tea began in Hawaii in 2015, when Kristin “Kris” Evans created an online store after her husband was stationed at Schofield Barracks on Oahu. The initiative aimed to bring coffee and tea products together in one place. It later added a mobile bar serving the island for two and a half years, a separate chapter from its current online retail business.
At the end of 2017, moving operations to Georgia led to a hiatus. The store relaunched in early 2019 with support from customers, family, and friends. Evans presents the project as a Black woman-owned business, with a selection expanded into gourmet coffees, tea blends, and accessories. The mobile-bar chapter has ended; the current offering focuses on preparing drinks at home.
Coffee includes specialty options and flavored products, alongside selections for exploring different tastes. The catalog allows purchases to focus on an everyday drink or seasonal choices. The store curates products and brands, so buying there does not mean every coffee, syrup, or utensil comes from a single manufacturer.
Syrups form a particularly extensive section. Tippleman’s includes brown sugar, pistachio crème, banana flambé, pumpkin brûlée, cookie butter, and pecan praline options. Pink House Alchemy adds Maple Delight and Creamy Salted Caramel. These ingredients are intended for lattes and other drinks, bringing combinations associated with a coffee bar into the home.
Tea blends, handcrafted sugars, and infusers extend the selection beyond espresso. Mugs, cups, brewers, and grinders complete the equipment offering. The blog develops specific preparations: a cold brew guide explains grind size, ratios, and steeping time; other recipes feature maple-pecan syrup or a mocha drink with Oreo cookies.
Subscriptions schedule recurring purchases and allow customers to manage deliveries through their account, with options to skip, pause, modify, or cancel future orders under their terms. Brew & Save Rewards adds purchase points and benefits, and gift cards are used in the online store. These are shopping services rather than table reservations or café service.
The address published in its terms is a mailing address: PO Box 3611, Greenville, South Carolina 29608. It is not a dining room open to the public. That distinction places the guide within the service the company provides today: bringing together coffee, tea, and accessories for customers selecting and preparing their drinks, with email support and online shopping.
