Green O: an adults-only retreat at Paws Up Montana

Green O is an exclusive accommodation for guests 21 and over set within the Paws Up Montana complex, a luxury resort located on a working 37,000-acre cattle ranch. It presents itself as a secluded retreat away from the main resort, focused on privacy, design, and a slower pace, with twelve private hauses and exclusive access to the Social Haus restaurant.

Accommodation: twelve designer hauses

The complex has twelve high-end hauses across four styles, each sleeping two guests. All include floor-to-ceiling windows, an ultramodern eco-kitchenette, a private outdoor hot tub, and a Lexus SUV for getting around the property.

• Green Haus: a retreat in a modern woodland haus, with indoor-outdoor spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a spacious deck with a hot tub.
• Light Haus: modern, light-filled accommodation in the forest, with two fireplaces and a private deck with a hot tub for stargazing.
• Round Haus: an immersive retreat in Montana nature, with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows and a private outdoor hot tub.
• Tree Haus: a treehouse elevated 23 feet above the ground, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a ground-level hot tub, and a spiral staircase leading to a master suite with a soaking tub.

Social Haus restaurant

Green O guests have exclusive access to the award-winning Social Haus restaurant, which offers eight-course menus. The stay includes gourmet meals and snacks.

What the stay includes

Haus stays include gourmet meals, snacks, transfers to and from Missoula International Airport, a Lexus SUV for getting around the property, and access to resort amenities such as the 24/7 gym, outdoor games, self-guided activities, and Wi-Fi. The resort does not apply gratuity charges.

Access to the Paws Up resort

Green O guests can use the entire Paws Up property, which spans 37,000 acres and offers a wide range of activities. The main resort offers more than 70 year-round activities and adventures, from horseback riding and fly fishing to spa and dining. Accommodation at Paws Up includes private homes, safari tents, and woodland hauses, with meals by James Beard Award-nominated chefs.

Geared toward couples and special occasions

Green O is designed for couples and milestone moments. Available experiences include the Romance Package, which includes three nights in a Green O haus, nightly dinners, a private trail ride, a wellness session, and touches such as champagne and an in-home dessert.

Setting and history

The complex is located on a historic cattle ranch 40 minutes from Missoula. The land was part of Captain Meriwether Lewis's return journey, and in 1882 settlers established a gold mining claim, the origin of the enduring cattle ranching and hospitality tradition. Paws Up Montana is a two-MICHELIN-key resort.
