Grantsburg Animal Hospital & Wild River Veterinary Clinic

Two veterinary clinics on both sides of the St. Croix River

Grantsburg Animal Hospital & Wild River Veterinary Clinic operates two veterinary locations situated on both sides of the St. Croix River: one in Grantsburg (Wisconsin) and another in Pine City (Minnesota). The clinic presents itself as a center with over 30 years of experience dedicated to the care of dogs and cats, with the stated goal of offering up-to-date medicine and technical equipment for the care of companion animals.

Care for dogs and cats

The work of both locations focuses on the care of dogs and cats. The veterinary team and clinic staff handle both routine check-ups and complex surgical procedures, and the clinic notes that all staff participate in continuing education programs.

Wellness, surgery, and diagnostic services

The service catalog is organized into three main areas:

• Wellness: care for new patients, general exams, vaccination, prevention, and nutrition.
• Surgery: soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter, wound repair, mass removal, and emergency or non-routine procedures.
• Diagnostics: digital radiology and laboratory testing, performed both in-house and sent out to external laboratories.

Coverage along the Wisconsin–Minnesota border

The clinics serve animals from areas near the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota. Among the locations mentioned are Grantsburg, Siren, Frederic, Spooner, Webster, Luck, Centuria, Wild River, Pine City, Hinkley, Braham, Mora, Rush City, Harris, and Cambridge, as well as other nearby areas.

After-hours emergencies

For emergencies outside of business hours or during the weekend, the clinic refers clients to Animal Emergency and Referral Center and Blue Pearl Pet Hospital.

Team and professional activity

The clinic maintains a page introducing its veterinary team and offers guided tours of the facilities at both locations. The site also indicates that the company has open positions and that it offers an online pharmacy, its own app, and various payment options for clients.
