About Bluegrass Community and Technical College — Georgetown–Scott County
Georgetown–Scott County Campus is at 200 Technology Court, a short drive from central Georgetown. BCTC places advanced manufacturing instruction here, alongside transfer coursework, support services and programs for local high-school students. The site’s role is more specialized than a downtown classroom center: students can encounter industrial equipment and career-connected instruction designed with regional employers.
The college identifies Kentucky FAME and advanced manufacturing pathways among Georgetown’s distinctive options. Technical programs include machining, engineering and industrial maintenance; the campus also supports Bluegrass College Academy and student advising. Selective programs, including Paramedic Technology, have additional admission steps, so general college acceptance does not automatically secure a place in every cohort.
Free student parking is available, and the campus page provides a map, driving directions and open-registration information. Before applying to a technical program, confirm the current lab schedule, prerequisites and credential sequence; some general courses may be offered online or at another campus while the hands-on component takes place in Georgetown.
A technical campus featuring advanced manufacturing, the Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education, transfer courses and student services.
