About Santa Fe College — Northwest Campus
The Northwest Campus is Santa Fe College’s main site: a 115-acre campus that became the college’s home in 1972. Admissions, advising, financial aid, registration and the largest concentration of academic offices are based here, so it is the clearest starting point for students who have not yet settled on a program or need help moving from application to classes.
The campus combines the Lawrence W. Tyree Library and Learning Commons with a gym and Fitness Center in Building V, a food court, athletics fields and the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo and Kika Silva Pla Planetarium. Current students and employees can use the Fitness Center with a valid SFID. The zoo is an instructional site for the Zoo Animal Technology program as well as a public attraction; check its separate schedule before planning a visit.
Parking is free and students do not need a decal, although faculty spaces and other signed restrictions still apply. RTS buses stop near Building S; currently enrolled students and staff receive prepaid access to fixed-route buses with an SFID. The campus page lists weekday business hours as 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; class, library, gym and visitor schedules may differ, so use the current campus map and confirm the office you need before travelling.
Main campus for admissions and the broadest range of academic and student services; library, tutoring, fitness center, teaching zoo and planetarium.
