About FC Dallas Youth and Academy
FC Dallas Youth combines several commitments under one umbrella. Its youth club offers age-based teams, girls’ Academy and boys’ MLS NEXT Academy, while the professional Academy is selective rather than a public beginner league. The front-office page reports 48 Academy players signed professional contracts with FC Dallas and hundreds of alumni went on to college soccer. These are the club’s own figures: they show previous advancement, not the odds for an applicant or a promise of a professional career.
The 2026 open club tryouts for U11–U19 ran July 1–3 at Toyota Soccer Center and have passed. FC Dallas says the boys’ Academy does not hold open tryouts; families can submit playing history and video for technical staff review, and a trial may follow only if the player is invited. Youth teams and camps have separate entry points. Ask which program fits the child’s birth year, whether the team travels, and what tuition, uniforms and tournament costs add to the season.
FC Dallas Youth lists Toyota Soccer Center and UMB Bank Performance Center in Frisco, plus Dallas Soccer Park, FORO and Mercy Street Sports Complex in Dallas. Age and program determine which field the team uses. The address below is the Youth administrative office, not every practice site. FC Dallas is among the 30 clubs in the 2026 MLS season, but Academy selection, match playing time and a first-team contract are separate outcomes. Start with FC Dallas Youth’s program finder and review Academy scouting before applying.
