Fresno City College — West Fresno Center

West Fresno Center brings Fresno City College classes and services to 600 East Church Avenue, in a residential and industrial area southwest of downtown. The 39-acre site has two buildings set among landscaped open space, a walking path and permanent outdoor fitness stations. Its purpose is practical: make college coursework and career training available in West Fresno, so students do not have to travel to the main campus for every class or appointment.

The Spring 2026 schedule lists transferable general-education courses alongside allied health, applied technology, collision repair and automotive technology. Examples include pharmacology, an introduction to health careers, precision measurement and hands-on repair courses; some technical sections list separate materials charges. The center also offers admissions and records, business services, counseling, tutoring and a library. Course availability changes by term, so a program listed in the catalog does not guarantee that every course will meet here every semester.

Students apply to Fresno City College and should select the West Fresno location when checking class sections. The state enrollment fee is the same across district sites: $46 per unit for California residents, before applicable fees; nonresidents pay the additional published nonresident charge. The official campus map shows parking areas, and the district requires a permit for campus lots. Before setting out, confirm that the class, advising appointment or transaction is assigned to West Fresno and check the service’s current hours.
