Bog House Pub

In north Fresno, Bog House Pub builds its offer around what it pours. The business calls itself a neighborhood Irish pub and traces a sequence of names—The Body in the Bog, Aisling Bog, and now Bog House—at the same Marks Avenue address. It is best approached as a bar rather than a full-service restaurant: the current menu posted online lists beer and wine, not a current food menu.

The drinks list is broad for a neighborhood room: Guinness and Old Speckled Hen appear on nitro, alongside Harp, Peroni, Menabrea, California craft beers, mead, wine, and beer cocktails. The pub notes that taps rotate, so the published selection describes its approach rather than guaranteeing every label will be available on a particular evening.

Customer comments most often mention the range of beer, staff guidance when choosing a pint, and the ease of talking with regulars. Visitors also refer to live music and themed nights promoted by the venue. That combination works best as a social neighborhood bar rather than a dinner room: the draw is trying a different beer and staying for conversation.

The official site posts late hours, especially on Friday and Saturday, and keeps separate pages for events, drinks, and contact. Bog House is at 7089 North Marks Avenue, in a spread-out commercial area of north Fresno; plan the trip around reaching that specific address. The pub’s official Instagram, linked by the business, is the place to check music news and tap changes.
