Frederick Community College Foundation Spring Scholarship Application

A college foundation application can match students to several funds, but campus enrollment is often the first key. Frederick Community College Foundation maintains a common portal for Spring 2027 scholarships, with awards serving different goals and amounts: nursing, science, trades, art, hospitality, need-based aid, and community funds. The listing does not set one award amount and notes that being matched makes a student eligible for consideration, not an award recipient.

The application opened October 1, 2026. The priority date is December 31 and the portal closes January 15, 2027. In general, students must be enrolled as regular students in an eligible FCC degree or certificate program, hold a high-school diploma or recognized equivalent, and meet each fund’s additional criteria. Students currently in FCC dual-enrollment programs are not eligible for these Foundation scholarships.

The portal distinguishes automatched scholarships, where the general form may be enough, from apply-to opportunities requiring essays, references, or other steps. Submit before closing and check the Recommended tab; do not assume automated matching replaces an additional response. FCC also lists separate support for construction, continuing education, childcare, and noncredit courses. Frederick County residents may also review Community Foundation of Frederick County scholarships, which use a separate local application and calendar.

To compare this benefit with other options, ask financial aid for an estimate separating tuition, fees, housing, and excluded expenses. Confirm whether it can renew, what academic progress it requires, and whom to contact if payment does not appear on the account. Keep award letters and receipts until the school confirms disbursement.
