About Bae Chiropractic, P.C. / Queens Disc Center
One suite with two public-facing names
Bae Chiropractic, P.C. and Queens Disc Center identify the same address, 142-04 Bayside Avenue, Suite 8L, and telephone, 718-445-6477. The disc-center contact page places the professional building on Union Street between 31st and 32nd avenues. These names identify one office in this guide, not two separate recommendations. Hak Soo Bae is the chiropractor identified by both presentations; his biography records graduation with honors from New York Chiropractic College in 1997.
A disc-focused service range
The clinic combines chiropractic care with a menu that includes nonsurgical lumbar decompression, cervical traction, individualized exercise rehabilitation, orthotic fitting and Class IV laser therapy. Its wider service list also names licensed physical therapy, a neurological consultation, EMG/nerve-conduction testing, digital X-ray and trigger-point injections. Those services involve different professional roles. They should not be interpreted as procedures performed personally by a chiropractor simply because they appear beside chiropractic care.
The team page names internal-medicine physician Jon Stanciu, physical therapist Basilio Lopez and nurse practitioner Hannah Hwang, but their biographies refer to workplaces in Brooklyn, Woodside or Montefiore. That page does not publish a current Flushing attendance schedule for them. The documented local practitioner is Bae; a specialist's presence on the general roster does not establish a same-day appointment in Suite 8L. This distinction is particularly relevant when a visit is being arranged specifically for an injection, physical therapy or a neurological assessment.
The first visit and the advertised MRI review
The general intake sequence begins with forms, consultation, history and examination. Imaging may be requested when indicated, followed by same-day treatment in some cases and home instructions. A later visit, usually described as one or two days afterward, is used for a fuller review of findings and options. Separately, the disc-center site advertises a free MRI-review consultation. Its stated conditions are specific: mention the offer when booking and bring an MRI for review. A free consultation should not be read as a published promise that examinations, imaging or treatment are free.
Attention at the front desk and in the office
Recent visitors describe patient, attentive staff and a clean, comfortable setting. One account adds the detail of staff learning visitors' names, making a return to the office less impersonal. The service accounts place emphasis on how people are received and how concerns are handled, rather than on a quick transaction at reception.
The hours need a direct resolution
The two official sites agree on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. They disagree on two important sessions:
- Thursday: Bae Chiropractic lists closed; Queens Disc Center lists 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Saturday: Bae Chiropractic lists 8:30 a.m.–noon; Queens Disc Center lists 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
- Sunday: both list closed.
The shared telephone is the appropriate way to resolve those disputed sessions before travel. The general office information says most health insurance is accepted and flexible payment plans are available, without a complete plan list or fixed fee schedule.
