Tournament Housing Services (THS)

Hotel coordination and booking for youth sports tournaments across the United States, with team room blocks and reservation management for families and organizers.

About Tournament Housing Services (THS)

A youth team’s trip involves more than finding a competition. Players, coaches, and families also need accommodations that work with the tournament schedule. Tournament Housing Services, known as THS, coordinates that part of the journey. Since 1998, it has worked with hotel accommodations for youth sports tournaments across the United States. Its office is in Flemington, New Jersey, and its work serves events nationwide. Its role is to manage reservations and group needs through partner hotels and its own organizational platform.

For clubs and teams, room blocks are a central tool. A coordinator can organize the group and share a booking link with families, allowing each to manage its own room within the block. The platform provides hotel options, availability, prices, and distances from the sports venue, along with reservation tracking. That combination is useful when proximity to the venue matters as much as the accommodations and several families need to coordinate without one person maintaining all the records manually.

The company distinguishes three audiences: tournament directors, hotels and tourism promotion offices, and clubs, teams, and parents. Each participates in a different part of the same process. Organizers outline the event’s needs; hotels provide accommodations; teams use the system to book and manage their stay. THS combines digital management with personal support. In the testimonials it publishes, users emphasize the ease of sharing booking instructions, finding hotels near the competition, and resolving questions with staff. Those experiences describe trip coordination without establishing a guarantee about every hotel or event.

THS advertises no booking or change fees. That condition refers to its booking service and does not mean that every hotel rate is free of cancellation terms. The company also has a lower group rate matching program with specific requirements: the rate must be at a participating hotel, cover at least four rooms of the same room type and contracted dates, and apply to occupancy of one to four people. Requests must be made before the room block’s contracted cutoff date; once rooms are released, other hotel rates fall outside the program.

To document the comparison, the program accepts written correspondence from the hotel or a screenshot of its website showing the address, dates, room type, and rate. It excludes rates from third-party booking sites, prepaid or nonrefundable offers, and negotiated corporate, employee, or members-only rates, among other categories. The advertised benefit therefore has a defined scope: comparing equivalent conditions at a partner hotel within the group’s deadline. It does not promise to beat every offer available online.

THS specializes in making shared logistics manageable. A family can book its own room while the club retains an overview of the block and the organizer has a contact for tournament accommodations. For people traveling with youth teams, the service’s value lies in bringing search, coordination, and tracking into one process, with personal support when changes or questions arise. That work supports the competition before the players reach the venue.
