About Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation 2027 Scholarships
The Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation (HSEF) administers scholarships for graduating seniors at Hamilton Southeastern High School and Fishers High School in Indiana. In May 2026 it reported awarding more than $128,000 to students at the two schools; for the class of 2027, the Foundation describes individual awards generally ranging from $500 to $20,000. That is a portfolio-wide range, not a promise of what any applicant will receive.
The 2027 application opens November 2, 2026, and closes March 4, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. HSEF does not accept late applications, and recommendation letters must arrive by the same deadline. Students must create and manage their own accounts; the Foundation asks parents not to open applicant accounts because duplicate records can cause errors.
The process has two stages: first submit the Uniform Application for Community Scholarships (UACS), then review the student’s school-specific listings and complete each matching scholarship application. Awards do not share one eligibility rule: GPA, major, activities, experience, school, and renewal terms can vary. HSEF warns that amounts may change and some awards may not be offered in a given year.
Scholarships are presented at the schools’ senior recognition events and sent to the educational institution; recipients must meet each fund’s requirements and deadlines. Download the full packet, request references weeks in advance, and check the status of every application, not only the UACS. The school guidance office can help verify eligibility; HSEF lists hsefoundation@hse.k12.in.us for questions.
