Smoke Dogg Cigars

Smoke Dogg Cigars: boutique cigars and small batches for the U.S. market

Smoke Dogg Cigars is a digital marketplace specializing in boutique cigars, based in Duluth, Georgia. The company presents itself as a space for discovering artisanal brands and small-batch productions, with a catalog that ranges from limited releases to references from diverse and minority-owned manufacturers. In addition to direct-to-consumer sales, the company operates programs for retailers and affiliates.

Catalog and featured collections

The site organizes its offerings into collections and categories that make browsing by product type and flavor profile easier. Featured collections include Konscious Cigars, ATL Cigars, Carver Cigars, Definition Cigars, Drunk Chicken Cigars, and GTO Cigars. The shop also groups products into sections such as samplers, infused cigars, accessories, cutters, ashtrays, and lighters.

The catalog includes specific references such as Current Situation Cigars (Toro 6x52, Mexican San Andrés wrapper, available in 5-packs, 10-packs, or a box of 20), Boogie Down Cigars Rebirth of Crunk (5-pack, box of 20, or torpedo in a box of 22), Good Trouble (Corona 5.25x44, Robusto 5x50, and Gran Toro 6.5x56, in 5-packs or boxes of 20), ATL Black (Torpedo 6x52, Elegance 6.75x50, and Gran Toro 6.5x56), Definition DC Pig Maduro (Perfecto 4.5x60 with Ecuador Maduro wrapper, in a 4-pack), Oro De Panama Core Line (with vitolas such as Chombo, El Jefe, El Parlamento, Palacios, Perico, Santa Bella, Santeri, Torrijos, and Tejas, in 5-packs), Drunk Chicken Cigars Sample Pack, and ATL Cigars La Carrousel 1960. New arrivals include Silver Tongue (6x54), Torchbearer (6x52), and The Optimist (5x52), available in 5-packs or boxes of 10.

Selection by body and shopping experience

The shop allows filtering cigars by body: mild, medium-body, and full-body. This classification is aimed at different experience levels, from those new to premium cigars to more experienced palates seeking fuller profiles. The company emphasizes community-informed curation and transparency in tasting notes, with the goal of helping U.S. buyers compare profiles with confidence.

Shipping and storage

Smoke Dogg Cigars ships within the United States where online cigar sales are permitted by law. Rates and timelines are calculated at checkout based on location and carrier. The company notes that its inventory is kept in a humidor and that orders may require a brief rest period after delivery to stabilize humidity before lighting the cigar. In its guides, it recommends maintaining a relative humidity of approximately 65–70% and a stable temperature, avoiding sunny windows, hot cars, and prolonged refrigeration.

Educational content and community

The site includes a blog with articles on topics such as choosing a hygrometer, building your palate, comparing cigar sizes, and correcting uneven burns. It also offers introductory guides on what boutique cigars are, how to get started, and how to store them. The company maintains a podcast and a community platform called Puff, Sip, Chat, aimed at including the growing audience of "Sisters of the Leaf."

Founders and background

Steve and Reggie are the founders of Smoke Dogg Cigars. Reggie launched the movement in 2020 through the StickMen podcast, which evolved into the Puff, Sip, Chat platform. Steve Robinson, an early follower of the show, joined Reggie in 2021 after recognizing aligned missions. Together they transformed Smoke Dogg into a project based in Tampa, Florida, that acts as a broker and distributor, maintaining the small-batch and community spirit that inspired its origin.

Customer and business partner relationships

The company offers programs to become a retailer or affiliate, aimed at business partners seeking scaled fulfillment options. In published testimonials, a lounge industry customer highlights the simplicity of ordering, the consistency of humidity on arrival, and the correspondence between the catalog and the online descriptions.
