The Free Website Guys: professional website creation at no cost for entrepreneurs

The Free Website Guys is a web development service that builds professional websites for free for entrepreneurs and small businesses. The company presents itself as the highest-rated agency in the sector, with a prominent presence on review platforms such as Clutch, G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot, and claims to have surpassed competitors like Wix and Squarespace in ratings. Since 2019, it has built more than 30,000 websites, according to data published on its own site.

A model based on free service

The service consists of creating a professional website at no cost to the client. The company justifies this model by noting that it allows them to establish relationships with business owners who, as their companies grow, may hire paid projects. According to its figures, more than 95% of the people for whom it has built a website have been satisfied with the result, and around 18% have subsequently hired additional paid services or recommended the company to other contacts.

The process begins with an application that, according to the company, takes about two minutes to complete. A review committee responds within 24 to 48 hours and, if the proposal is a good fit, assigns a senior developer to work with the applicant. The company states that it accepts around 28.4% of the applications received.

Features of the websites built

The websites developed by the company include a series of technical features detailed on its website:

• Mobile optimization, considering that more than half of internet traffic comes from cell phones.
• Designs based on current templates created by graphic designers.
• Search engine optimization, with the goal of facilitating good ranking on Google and other search engines.
• Maximum load speed.
• Security features, including automated daily backups.
• Ability for clients to edit their own website, with training included so they don't have to rely on a developer.

Support throughout the process

The company states that it guides the client step by step through videos and clear instructions, catering to both technically savvy individuals and business owners with no prior experience. It mentions having worked with founders of young startups and with older business owners who require additional support.

Ratings and recognitions

The site includes numerous client reviews highlighting clear communication, support during development, and the quality of the final result. The company also displays distinctions from review platforms and a mention from Hostinger that places it among the top web development companies of 2025. It also shows examples of websites built for clients such as OPTIMATE, Ursula Wastian, Femmepats, Nelika deco, and Majik of Life.

Additional services and affiliate program

In addition to free website building, the company offers additional services and has an affiliate program, according to the sections on its page. The material does not detail the prices or terms of those complementary services.
