Miami Dade College — West Campus

West Campus is MDC’s Doral location, near the Florida Turnpike and the county’s international trade and logistics district. The college identifies programs from the Miguel B. Fernández Family School of Global Business and the School of Engineering + Technology, alongside certificates and professional training in areas such as accounting, human resources, programming, and digital marketing. Classes began in 2006; it became an official campus in 2018.

The college lists a student parking garage and asks visitors to arrange a pass with Public Safety; hours and availability can change. Its map and directory help locate buildings, the library, Admissions, and Financial Aid. Since the campus is in Doral’s business district, plan around your class time and transport, and confirm the exact entrance before leaving.

West may suit students seeking an academic program with employment-focused training, but offerings and aid are not universal: some certificates have limited funds and individual conditions. Check the program page and class search for delivery mode, credits, campus, and next start date. Before budgeting around a scholarship, confirm whether it covers tuition, supplies, or both.
