AM Moving Company

AM Moving Company coordinates moves from Dallas for households and businesses, with local, long-distance, and international service. The company operates as a trade name of Community Moving and Storage Inc. and lists an office on SMU Boulevard. Its work combines move planning with packing, furniture protection, transportation, and storage options.

For local moves, the team handles apartments, homes, offices, and commercial spaces. Its flat-rate quote is intended to clarify the labor, mileage, and fuel included in the price. The company recommends booking further ahead for weekends and month-end, when demand tends to be concentrated.

Customers can pack their belongings themselves or request full or partial packing. AM Moving offers supplies, furniture protection, disassembly and reassembly, room-by-room labeling, and loading and unloading help. The process is designed to keep boxes and furniture identified at the destination and tailor preparation to the size of the move.

For long-distance moves, the company coordinates trips between Texas cities and routes to other states; a dedicated truck can also be arranged on request. International moves require planning for shipping method, customs paperwork, and destination requirements. The website explains that these factors affect the estimate and schedule, so the details are determined for each move.

Business services cover offices, retail locations, and workspaces, as well as senior moves and specialty items. For pianos and oversized belongings, the company offers crating or custom protection as needed. It also lists vehicle transport and apartment moves, allowing customers to combine services when a project calls for them.

If a new home is not ready or a renovation is underway, AM Moving offers short-term or monthly storage in facilities it describes as monitored and climate-controlled. To protect furniture and floors during a move, it cites moving blankets, wrap, mattress covers, and door and floor protection. Basic valuation coverage is included, while the company can arrange full-value protection options.

The company says it is licensed and insured for local moves in Texas and nationwide relocations, and lists USDOT number 3753099. Its process begins with a quote and continues through preparation, moving, and delivery, with furniture placement and packing-material removal depending on the service. The office is open Monday through Friday; those contact hours should not be read as a promise that moving crews operate every day.
