The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse

Community Theater and Broadway Musicals in Cocoa Village

The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in downtown Cocoa Village, Florida. Its activity focuses on providing affordable community theater and promoting lifelong education in the performing arts for Brevard County residents and visitors. The venue features a cast of local performers and its own technical staff, and its lineup of Broadway musicals has earned it the nickname "Broadway on Brevard."

Stage Programming

The Playhouse's lineup includes Broadway musicals, the Spotlight Series, and Stars of Tomorrow. Programming is organized into seasons, and events are announced in the upcoming events section of the website. Tickets are sold through the theater's own box office or through the online ticketing service Spektrix.

Tickets and Box Office

The Playhouse advises that ticket resale by third parties is not authorized. All tickets, whether physical or electronic, have their original face value printed on them, and prices are published in advertising materials and on the website. The organization notes that platforms such as StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, or Tickets-Center may offer tickets at prices far above face value. Tickets advertised for resale may be invalidated, and patrons attempting to use them will not be admitted without purchasing a valid ticket at the Playhouse box office. Purchases through CocoaVillagePlayhouse.com redirect to Spektrix's secure site; any other website is not an authorized site. Current cast members of a production are authorized to reserve and distribute tickets for Playhouse events, and tickets acquired through them are valid.

Tickets and Subscriptions

The box office provides information on ticketing, season subscriptions, and a seating chart. Tickets can be purchased online or at the theater's box office.

Get Involved and Training

The Playhouse offers programs to get involved with the organization, including employment opportunities, an internship program, volunteering, and auditions. It also has a student scholarship program and the Aladdin Society and the Legacy Foundation as ways to support.
