About Tri-C KeyBank Advanced Technology Training Center

Tri-C’s KeyBank Advanced Technology Training Center, or ATTC, is an applied-learning site at 3409 Woodland Avenue beside the Metropolitan Campus. The college opened the 50,000-square-foot building in October 2012. Classrooms, multipurpose training areas and technology labs give students room to work with equipment and job tasks. For someone exploring a technical career, ATTC differs from general coursework at the main campus because much of the instruction is organized around hands-on preparation.

Tri-C lists Advanced Metals Joining, Advanced Technology Academy, Cisco Technical Training Institute, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Information Technology and Youth Technology Academy. Specialized spaces include construction engineering, Cisco and IT training rooms, robotics and welding labs. The college says many offerings take 10 to 18 weeks, although a student’s schedule depends on the program, start dates and modules still needed.

ATTC can be a route toward a credential or technical skill upgrade without assuming that every course leads to an associate degree. Some pathways award college credit and others are workforce training; admission, financial-aid eligibility and costs differ by offering. Ask for the current curriculum, hours of lab practice and exact credential before enrolling. Tri-C posts building hours of 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; individual class availability should be checked separately.

The site is a short distance from Metro and can be reached from the main highways serving the Campus District. Tri-C provides interactive maps for ATTC and the neighboring complex; parking guidance is organized by building and lot, so check the current map and student or visitor rules before driving. Call 216-987-6000 to confirm which courses are active at ATTC and whether they include in-person lab sessions.

In brief

A 50,000-square-foot hands-on workforce center with robotics, welding, construction engineering and Cisco/IT training; many listed short programs run 10–18 weeks.
