Cincinnati State — Evendale

At 10100 Reading Road, Evendale is home to Cincinnati State’s Workforce Development Center (WDC), a different kind of site from the main academic campus. It focuses on short-term, job-linked education for individuals, employers, public agencies and nonprofit organizations. Training can be delivered at the center, at an employer’s workplace or in a format arranged for a particular need.

The WDC lists training in health technology, industrial maintenance, advanced manufacturing, emergency medicine, hazardous-material response and professional development. Its learning model emphasizes labs, workplace tools and simulations. Some certificate courses carry Cincinnati State credit; the current catalog identifies which may count toward a further credential, so students should check each course rather than assume all short classes transfer into a degree.

The college’s new-student information says WDC parking is free and directs visitors to the lot by the black awning. The WDC office handles applications and registration, then contacts applicants with forms and any additional steps. The Evendale location page publishes the address and phone number, while the WDC catalog and program pages provide course details, schedules and pricing.

For someone changing careers or an employer arranging training, Evendale offers a practical entry point without requiring full enrollment in an associate program. Ask whether the desired class is open to individuals, awards college credit, has prerequisites or supply costs, and is actually taught at this location.
